Thread Question:

it says it failed to start because d3dx9_25.dll was not found. how do i fix this?

looks like you have older version of directx 9 installed. are you sure you have installed directx 9.0c. If so you will need to install that version.

Alternatively, just open the directx cab files with winrar and locate that particular file. manually copy and paste inside your system folder.

Just download the file here http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?d3dx9_25

then paste it in the installation folder
