Half Life 2 : Random Freezing/error issues

Thread Question:

Whenever I hop onto cs:source and play for about 5-10 minutes my comp either freezes or I get a certain error msg talking about Digital Protocol IP or some bs. Never had this problem before recently when i reinstalled windows XP so I can get a fresh start due to some spyware issues. Anyone have a clue on how to fix this or why it's even doing this?
