Thread Question:

Hello, I am having a little similar problem like the other person had in his thread, but mine is different.
I have P4, 3ghz, 512 ram and 9200. I installed the bf2 demo a while ago and this error comes up everytime I start the game.

I know my video card is on the low end, but I have seen many people able to play the game with that card. I changed the slider on my agp settings from 8x to 4x as many have, but that didn't make a difference. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do?

hi, your 9200 video card should be ok. I am just curious why this problem keeps repeating. I had ATI Radeon 9200SE card and had no problems except setting AGP to 4x. Looks like there is a problem with your shaders 1.4. It must have atleast 1.4 with directx 9. I think this the major problem with older cards.

thanks for the reply, I was able to fix it and don't need any help with the shaders now, but thanks again. Setting AGP to 4x was the right thing and it did work, I must have done something wrong in doing it though.
