Thread Question:

I have battle field and ive never owned one or the old 1942 but i just put the disc in that i bought from best buy and when i chose english then it comes up to the screen to press install and then istall shield goes throught then it just disapears and nothing happens please help me i would love to play this game soon my emial address is okdur007@yahoo.com

I can tell you for sure, that something wrong with your operating system. try changing to sp2+. whats your os and hardware?

Try cleaning up the temp folder where your previous installation files. Empty them and reinstall. Also dont forget to remove any previous installations of bf2.

did you check/scandisk your hardware. this could bring all sorts of troubles as well. use [checkdsk] to scandisk your drive. let me know if thsi works.
