Thread Question:

Hi all, if anyone could help with this i would greatly appreciate it.

I have previously installed BF2 on this machine and it works... except now i have a new DVD ROM and a new graphics card.

My comp:
1 gig ram
1.8 GHz
AMD sempron 2400+
ATI radeon 9550 256mb

I have also tryed installing in safe mode and i have no luck there.

The error is while installing objects_client.zip "failed to install battlefield 2, try again from the beginning"


and i have tryed over 100 times now i am very tired i really want to get it installed. and the graphics card is supported as i seen it in the readme and several friends said they have it.

It should be your dvd problem. why dont you replace the original cd? Have you cleaned the temp folder,where the installation files sit???

Another alternative i could suggest is, go to run, type command to get into msdos mode, then copy the entire bf2 from your dvd to harddisk then install, see if that works. let me know if any of this works
