Thread Question:

Prob is after being prompted to reboot it'll ask for the CD key, which I type in. After that it'll go thru a disc check and hang for a while then crash to Blue Screen.
I've installed on both my gaming computers and have the same results.
Both comps are:

AMD 64 3000+
1 ea. ATI 9800 pro128 & 1 ea. 9800 pro256 w/updated drivers.
1Gb DDR pc3200
XP pro sp2

i had the same problem with my older computer. whenever any game involves using multiple cd drives the os will go to blue screen of death. i finally found the problem was with devices of cd rom. make sure that your connections in motherboard work fine and if possible swap the cdroms to master and slave.

and, other significant problem could be your sound/modem/printer card drivers not properly installed or updated. this could cause a large conflict and produce blue screen.
