Thread Question:

i had a post but i accidentally deleted it. the info requested i will try to post. i have an amd athlon 3200+ xp, windows XP professional, nvidia geforce fx 5950 ultra, creative labs soundblaster audigy 2 zs gamer. my problem is the game crashes after the loading screen completes, the one after the THX CERTIFIED GAME screen. i got to play once, enjoyed the game, but have had no progress in playing the game. i downloaded all my drivers, and directX, what should i do. any and all help is appreciated,

exactly the same problem popped up with me. initially it goes to black screen and crashed back to desktop. i initially thought that the my creative sound card was the problem, so i changed the sound to none from dxdiag. did you try this?

When i ran the game, the game recovered and started fine but when the menu starts loading it again crashed. i noticed that your os is windows xp professional, did you install windows xp sp2+ because the main culprit with me was older version of windows xp. Try replacing your XP.

now after some stuff got accidentally deleted, and replaced, the screen goes black for about half a second than goes back to the desktop. i also have 512x2 for 1 gig of ram.

no, i kinda stopped bothering about it and moved on to other games :/ if you know anything that would help i would greatly appredciate it
